Macarena, Blanquita and Isabel use Antonio and Carmen, Canterbury and the California of the sixties to create psychedelic pop where the innocence of childhood is clouded with the darkness of a strange dream. Produced with psychogenic delicacy by Fernando Vacas, the three minigens cleverly mix between tributes to home and Panero and appropriations of children’s classics, configuring along the way a universe as twisted naïve as it is fascinating.
