The studio is situated next to the square “Plaza de la Corredera”, in the neighbourhood of the historical quarter, very near the town centre in one of the areas of most activity in town. Placed in an ancient house, the working environment is excellent. Analogical and digital technology coexist in eureka Studios: we always combine up-to-date technology with the most classical equipment and styles.
All the technicians and producers that work in these studios love the sound of Universal Audio, Neve, Joe Meek, Telephunken and all that is vintage in the current musical panorama. All this combined with a Tascam digital table obtains a really warm and delicate sound but the real crown jewel is a Trident analog table of 1976.
Since the beginning eureka Studios have worked nonstop on new projects. Each one has been different, no challenge has been left unmet and a great deal of imagination and hard work have guided the creation of its eclectic discography: Howe Gelb’s “Alegrías”, Russian Red’s “I Love Your Glasses”, Prin’LaLá’s “Esto es…Prin’LaLá”, Sideral’s “Leire” (Pias Spain, 2008)…
At the same time eureka Studios also does mastering jobs within a range that goes from a colder mastering up to a warmer one. Very near the Costa del Sol and less than 2 hours distance from Madrid, Córdoba is one of most interesting touristic enclaves in Spain and that is where our studios are.
