Amparo Velasco, nicknamed ‘La Negra’ for her passion for soul and her skin tone, is an artist born and raised in Alicante, Spain.
During her adolescence she lived in America, traveling through Brazil, Mexico and the rest of North America. She belongs to that group of artists who, taking an air of flamenco, have created their own popular language, fusing different musical elements to achieve a personal sound.
